♡ 억겁(億劫)의 인연(因緣) ♡
불가(佛家)에서 겁(劫)은 천년에 한번씩 떨어지는 빗방울이 집채만한 바위를 뚫는 시간이다.
일겁(一劫)은
인도에서는 범천(梵天)의 하루, 곧 인간계의 4억 5,200만년입니다.
*범천(Brahmā-Deva;梵天):색계의 초선천(初禪天)에 속하는 가장 위의 하늘을 다스리는 왕
500겁의 연이 있어야 옷깃을 스칠 수 있고,
3천겁에 하루밤을 한 집에서 지내고,
4천겁에 한 민족으로 태어나고,
5천겁에 한 동네에 태어나고,
6천겁에 인연은 있어야 하루밤을 같이 잔다고 했으니
여기 우리 만남은 아무리 줄여도 4~5천겁의 인연은 족히 넘을 터.
반가운 님이시어,
귀하신 걸음,
어서 오소서.
존경하고 사랑합니다.
잠시나마의 만남과 머무름의 소중한 인연에
부디 즐거운 시간, 만족하시어 행복하시기를 소망합니다.

Regina Nathan (born 17 August 1960) is an Irish soprano. Nathan was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was raised in Dublin.
She studied at St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, the College of Music, Dublin (now the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama), Trinity College of Music, London and at the National Opera Studio.
She represented Ireland at the 1991 Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, has performed in with Placido omingo in Dublin and proclaimed as Ireland's outstanding New Entertainer of the year in 1991.
She has worked with a number of orchestras including the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
In 1994 she was the subject of an hour long documentary made for RTÉ by Louis Lentin, The Quality of Rapture.
Nathan performed on four of the twenty tracks of the multi-platinum selling compilation album Faith of Our Fathers.
Nathan has given world premières of contemporary works, including John Buckley's Maynooth Te Deum (1995)
and Mark-Anthony Turnage's The Country of the Blind (1997).
She taught at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama between 2005 and 2007.
