The actor, 51, has been award a CBE while the footballer, 43, has been made an OBE for their outstanding contributions to their community and country.
This year's recipients are said to reflect the monarch's 'invaluable' qualities ahead of her Platinum Jubilee and have been recognised for their contributions to youth engagement, the environment and sustained public service.

A series of major events has been scheduled, beginning at 10am with Trooping the Colour and ending on Sunday with a special Pageant celebrating the life of the nation's longest-reigning monarch.
Outdoor parties will also take place on Sunday as part of the Big Jubilee Lunch, while there will be a televised concert on the BBC from Buckingham Palace the day before.

The Queen has called on the nation to use her Platinum Jubilee to create 'happy memories' with friends and family.
Ahead of four days of global festivities, the monarch, 96, also said Britain should be proud of its achievements across the 70 years of her historic reign.
Her Majesty's special message of goodwill clearly extends to her own family as it emerged yesterday that she has invited Harry and Meghan to attend today's Trooping the Colour ceremony.

Forecasters are expecting patchy sunshine across swathes of the UK today, tomorrow and Saturday.
But London and the South East is being told to brace for downpours on Sunday, with Britons preparing for street parties that day being told to organise a Plan B bash in their garages.
However, it's unlikely the weather will deter millions from marking the Queen's 70 years on the throne.
Holidaymakers are facing huge queues again this morning as Britain's airports and Eurostar are severely delayed - as Britons are warned to only take carry on bags to avoid their luggage being lost.
Hundreds of passengers travel plans for the four-day Jubilee celebrations have been thrown into disarray after a 'shambolic' week of flight cancellations as the staffing crisis continues to cause mayhem at Britain's travel hubs.
Eurostar services have also seen severe delays this morning following reports of a person who has been hit by a train. Traffic is currently interrupted between Lille and Calais, with all services to Paris delayed.

Shamed Prince Andrew is not expected to attend Trooping the Colour after being snubbed for the most important military event of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, MailOnline can reveal.
As colonel of the Grenadier Guards, the disgraced Duke of York has previously played a key role in the ceremony, riding out by the Queen's side as the regiment's representative.
Since being stripped of the title earlier this year, Andrew was not expected to play an active part in the event, but the possibility of him appearing with other royals on Horse Guards Parade as a spectator was left open.
However, he will not appear in public at all this year, a military source told MailOnline.

Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne will take part in today's historic Trooping the Colour in Horse Guards.
The Royal Family will travel from Buckingham Palace along The Mall to the parade ground in carriages at about 10.30am, with the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and the Princess Royal on horseback.
The Trooping the Colour will then mark the monarch's official birthday, as has been tradition for the last 260 years. This year the colour will be trooped by the 1st Batallion, Irish Guards, with up to 1,450 officers and soldiers from the Household Division, together with 400 Army musicians and around 240 horses.
Prince Charles will take the Salute, joined by Prince William, a Colonel in the regiment and Princess Anne.
We are expected to see the Queen three times today.
First, we should see Her Majesty on the Buckingham Palace balcony at 12.20pm during Trooping the Colour.
Then at 1pm, the Queen is set to share the balcony with working royals for the RAF flypast.
Finally, at 9.25pm this evening the 96-year-old monarch is expected to attend the lighting of the principal beacon - a 21-metre Tree of Trees sculpture at the Palace.
Starting at 10am, the Queen's Birthday Parade at Horse Guards in London is the first official Platinum Jubilee event of the bank holiday weekend, and the most widely attended by the Windsors.
Many had thought Her Majesty's appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the traditional post-parade flypast would be the most keenly anticipated moment of the day.
But it is likely all eyes will, in fact, be on the family reunion playing out 50 yards down the road instead.
Harry and Meghan have been invited by the Queen to join family members watching the spectacular military event from the Major General's Office overlooking the Whitehall parade ground.
