Just as North and South Korea have their own versions of The Internationale, the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture within the People's Republic of China also has its own version, based heavily on the Mandarin Chinese version. Additionally, the Yanbian Korean version follows the naming convention of the North Korean version, transliterating "Internationale" as "인터나쇼날" (Inthŏnasyonal),while the South Korean version uses "인터내셔널" (Inthŏnaesyŏnŏl).

"The Internationale" is the one of the most famous Revolutionary Songs in the world. This original lyrics was written by Eugène Pottier in June 1871. He is a member of the Paris Commune. It was originally intended to be sung to the tune of "La Marseillaise" (the national anthem of French).

 

In 1888, the Belgian socialist, Pierre Degeyter composed the melody known well today. So these lyrics became the symbols of the Paris Commune and all of the Resistances.

 

In 1902, the communist translated it to Russian in Soviet Union. This song was spread all over the world by the socialist of each country. Because there were The Communist University of the National Minorities West and The Communist University of the Toilers of the East in Moscow. These were the international university for the communists from the foreign countries.

 

In Japan, SASAKI Takamaru (the famous actor) and SANO Seki (the stage director) translated this song to Japanese. After that, many people, for example, the members of The Japanese Communist Party or The Social Democratic Party of Japan or the students of the New Left's sect sang these Japanese lyrics.

 

Even now, many people in many countries sing this song in each language!

 

I've gotten the request what someone translated these Japanese lyrics to English. So I tried it. But I'm a Japanese, so I can't write English as same as native language.
