Representative Text

1

Sweet Sacrament divine,

hid in thine earthly home,
lo, round thy lowly shrine,
with suppliant hearts we come;
Jesus, to thee our voice we raise
in songs of love and heartfelt praise:
sweet Sacrament divine.

거룩한 성체여 주 계신 궁이여 비는 맘 가지고 주 앞에 모이네.

마음에 벅찬 찬송을 사랑의 주께 드리리. 거룩한 성체여

2

Sweet Sacrament of peace,
dear home for every heart,
where restless yearnings cease
and sorrows all depart;
there in thine ear all trustfully
we tell our tale of misery:
sweet Sacrament of peace.

평화의 성체여 만민의 집이여 걱정과 서러움 여기서 풀겠네.

주께서 귀를 기울여 우리의 하소 들으리. 평화의 성체여

3

Sweet Sacrament of rest,
ark from the ocean's roar,
within thy shelter blest
soon may we reach the shore;
save us, for still the tempest raves,
save, lest we sink beneath the waves:
sweet Sacrament ofrest.

안식의 성체여 방주와 같으니 피난처 되시어 구원해 주시네.

폭풍의 바다 속에서 우리를 구원하소서. 안식의 성체여

4

Sweet Sacrament divine,
earth's light and jubilee,
in thy far depths doth shine
thy Godhead's majesty;
sweet light, so shine on us, we pray,
that earthly joys may fade away:
sweet Sacrament divine.

거룩한 성체여 하늘의 빛이여 하느님 영광을 나타내주시네.

그윽한 빛을 비추사 허욕을 쫓아내소서. 거룩한 성체여

O Sacrament Most Holy

1. O Jesus, we adore you, Who, in your love divine,

Conceal your mighty Godhead In forms of bread and wine.

(Refrain): O sacrament most holy, O sacrament divine,

All praise and all Thanksgiving Be ev'ry moment thine!

2. O Jesus, we adore you, our victim and our priest,

Whose prrecious blood and body Become our Sacred feast. (Ref.)

3. O Jesus, we adore you, Our Savior and our King,

And with the saints and angels Our humble homage bring. (Ref.)

4. O Jesus, we adore you; Come, live in us we pray,

That all our thoughts and actions Be yours alone today. (Ref.)

5. O come, all you who labor In sorrow and in pain;

Come, eat this bread from heaven; Your peace and strength regain. (Ref.)
